Job Offer: OpenEU Management Officer

The OpenEU is looking for a dedicated Management Officer to become part of its team.

OpenEU brings together eight leading online and distance teaching universities and two campus-based universities committed to digital transformation. It is a key actor within the European Universities Initiative, driving access to, use of, and innovation in digital education across the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

Harnessing the potential of digital technologies and representing over 368,000 non-traditional students and lifelong learners, OpenEU is guided by its mission to create an inclusive, learner-centred, digital, and green European university. Its goal is to expand access to higher education and lifelong learning for all, regardless of background or location.

With the support of the European Commission under the Erasmus+ European Universities programme, OpenEU is currently implementing a four-year project to lay the foundations of the first truly open university at the European level.

Position Overview

To support the successful implementation of the project, OpenEU is recruiting a Management Officer to join its central Secretariat, hosted by the UOC in Barcelona, Spain. The Management Officer will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the project’s operational and financial management. This role offers the opportunity to work in a European, multicultural environment and contribute to one of the EU’s flagship higher education initiatives.

We are looking for a candidate with strong project management skills, experience in EU-funded programmes (preferably Erasmus+), and an excellent command of English.
