Join the OpenEU team: we are hiring two key roles for the first pan-European Open University
The OpenEU initiative, harnesses the expertise of eight open and distance universities along with two on-campus universities, to provide accessible learning to over 368.000 non-traditional students and lifelong learners. OpenEU is dedicated to creating a learner-centred, inclusive, digital and green pan-European open university, widening access to higher education and lifelong learning to all. This initiative is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ European Universities Programme and will run from December 2024 to November 2028.
As coordinator of the OpenEU Alliance, UOC will host the OpenEU Secretariat, the central coordinating hub of this transformative project. The Secretariat will consist of a Secretary General and three specialised Offices: Quality and Management, Internationalization and Joint Actions, and Communication and Engagement. This team will collaborate closely with all alliance partners to ensure seamless project execution and impactful outcomes.
OpenEU is looking to fill two key roles:
1. OpenEU Secretary General: The Secretary General will lead the OpenEU Secretariat at UOC, ensuring coordinated support across all alliance activities and managing the project’s institutional development.
2. OpenEU Quality and Management Officer: Reporting to the Secretary General, this officer will oversee the alliance’s day-to-day management, quality assurance, and technical and financial management, ensuring effective delivery of the project’s objectives.
