Open call for volunteers: Join the OpenEU Volunteering Programme!
The OpenEU Alliance is excited to invite students enrolled at OpenEU partner universities to participate in the OpenEU Volunteering Programme.
This programme offers volunteering opportunities in areas such as digital transformation, climate emergency, and European values, working alongside civil society organiszations (CSOs) and non-profit partners across Europe.
What’s Offered?
Financial Support: For mobility costs such as travel and accommodation, contingent on proof of placement with a vetted CSO or non-profit.
Personal and Professional Development: Opportunities to gain new skills and make an impact on significant causes.
Eligibility:
To apply, you must be:
A student enrolled at an OpenEU partner university.
From an underrepresented group (Women in STEAM, migrants, refugees, people with disabilities, or people living in rural areas).
Ready to submit a letter of motivation explaining your interest in the programme.
Application Process:
Apply for a volunteer position through the OpenEU Volunteer Portal.
Complete the Volunteering Programme Application Form and submit your letter of motivation to express your interest in mobility funding.
Important Dates:
Deadline to Apply: January 31, 2026
Application Review: February-March 2026
Notification of Results: Late March to Early April 2026
Placement Ends: September 2026
