Call for OpenEU Mentees: Do you start your first-degree year? Don’t need to do it alone!
Starting university could be exciting; however, it could generate concerns and make you feel no trust in your skills to deal with some new demands. To meet a student who has overcome the same way could be helpful!

Do you feel that, as a student with a disability, you need any support or accommodations to fully engage in university life?
Do you feel that living in a rural area makes it difficult to connect with others or find support when facing challenges as a student?
As a woman beginning a STEAM degree, do you feel fully supported in your academic journey?
As a migrant student, do you feel you need additional support to adapt to a new language, culture, or educational environment?
If you answer YES at least in one of the last questions, the Open-EU mentorship program could help you to face your new demands!
What does it consist of?
Open-EU Mentor is a student from your university who could help in your own first steps. You will be able to share your doubts in a safety relationship. These mentors offer a first help, that allow you to adapt better in your university life.

Starting university is a big step, but having someone to support you along the way can make all the difference.
You do not need to have everything figured out to take part. All you need is a willingness to learn, share your concerns, and make the most of the support available.
