Dear PhD Candidates,

Within the framework of OpenEU – The Open European University, the Hellenic Open University invites its PhD candidates to express their interest in participating in the OpenEU Winter School 2026, which will take place 27–29 November 2026 in Athens, at the Hellenic Open University.

The Winter School will bring together PhD candidates from OpenEU partner universities, providing opportunities to present and discuss their doctoral research, exchange ideas and experiences, receive feedback, and develop academic connections and collaborations.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research, take part in academic sessions and activities, and engage with PhD candidates and researchers from different academic disciplines and European universities.

*PLEASE NOTE that for applicants at the UOC, the deadline is 17 October.

Each OpenEU partner university is responsible for the selection of its participating PhD candidates and will define, its own internal selection procedures and criteria.
