Description of the organisation:
Violant is an organisation based in Olot (Catalonia, Spain) dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship and employability within the framework of feminist economics. Its work focuses on raising awareness of economic violence and providing tools to prevent and overcome it. It also promotes technological innovation from an inclusive perspective. Founded in 2017 under the name Athena, the organisation rebranded in 2024, renewing its identity and expanding its reach nationwide.
Violant provides virtual support to entrepreneurs and job seekers, focusing on economic violence and the digital divide as key issues. Its virtual community, TERRAPOLI, is a learning and innovation ecosystem that promotes the reduction of the digital divide, addresses structural inequalities and encourages entrepreneurial projects with economic and social impact in both rural and urban areas.

Volunteering to support entrepreneurs on TERRAPOLI
Volunteers support entrepreneurs participating in the TERRAPOLI platform, a virtual community that offers training and support in all phases of the entrepreneurial process. This ecosystem of innovation and transformation is designed to educate and support entrepreneurial projects in their various phases, through both synchronous and asynchronous mentoring.
Description of the volunteer position:
Aimed at students with training or experience in three areas:
Communication and marketing
Economics and finance
Technology and use of ICT.
1. Volunteering in communication and marketing
Volunteers will provide individualised support to entrepreneurs in creating communication and marketing strategies tailored to their projects.
2. Volunteering in the economic and financial area
Volunteers will provide mentoring in personal and professional finance management, helping entrepreneurs to put their projects into practice.
3. Volunteering in the technology/ICT area
Volunteers will offer support in the use of digital tools and the technological implementation of entrepreneurs' projects.
Selection process:
Violant will conduct an initial interview with each volunteer to assess their profile and, if there are places available, will refer them to the appropriate project. The organisation offers initial training and ongoing supervision by a volunteer coordinator.
Location:
The volunteering will be carried out online.
Language requirements:
Proficiency in Catalan and/or Spanish is required (minimum B2).
Time period:
The volunteering will be one day a week, with dates, times and duration to be agreed with the entrepreneur (Spain time).
