Call for Volunteers – Collaborative TaDT Paper
We are inviting participants of the Think and Do Tank (TaDT) to take part in the development of a collaborative academic paper, building on the work already produced through the TaDT exploratory phase and the on-site workshop. The goal is to prepare a peer‑reviewed journal article that integrates empirical findings, participatory insights, and methodological reflection on hybrid and collaborative research approaches in higher education.
Source Materials
The paper will be based on three existing materials:
1.1 The TaDT Exploratory Round Report, which presents quantitative and qualitative results from the Large Panel survey and defines the core analytical axes of the research.
1.2 The TaDT workshop design and organisation document, which explains the participatory rationale, group structure, and the Add–Clarify–Cluster–Prioritise (ACCP) method used during the workshop.
1.3 The literal transcription of the on-site workshop (Miro boards), containing group discussions, thematic clusters, and prioritised insights that will be used for qualitative analysis, triangulation, and discussion.
Purpose of the Paper
The paper aims to integrate findings from the exploratory survey and the participatory workshop, demonstrating the analytical value of combining survey-based evidence with structured co‑creation methods. It will also discuss implications for policy, institutional governance, and digital innovation practices in higher education.
Tasks and Contributions
The work will be organised through a shared task plan (spreadsheet), where volunteers may sign up for one or more tasks. The task plan includes the following areas:
• Journal strategy: identification and analysis of suitable target journals.
• Methodology: integration of the exploratory survey and workshop data, and refinement of the methodological section.
• Writing – Introduction: context, rationale, research gap, and objectives.
• Writing – Methods: detailed description of data collection and analysis procedures.
• Writing – Results: synthesis of quantitative findings and qualitative thematic analysis.
• Writing – Discussion: interpretation, triangulation, and implications.
• Writing – Conclusions: conclusions and future research agenda.
• Editing and finalisation: coherence, formatting, references, and alignment with journal guidelines.
Each task in the spreadsheet includes a short description, estimated time commitment, suggested period, and dependencies. Volunteers will be able to add their name directly to the relevant rows once the team is formed.
Time Commitment and Collaboration
Participation is voluntary and flexible. Depending on the selected tasks, the estimated time commitment ranges from approximately 5 to 20 hours. Work will be carried out collaboratively using shared documents. Authorship will follow standard academic criteria and will reflect actual contributions.
Registration Form
Interested participants are invited to complete a short registration form. In the form, volunteers will be asked to indicate:
• The task areas they would like to contribute to (as listed in the task spreadsheet);
• Their approximate availability;
• Any relevant experience related to the selected tasks.
The information provided in the form will be used to finalise task allocation in the shared spreadsheet.
Next Steps
After the registration period, the coordination team will consolidate the group, confirm the target journal, finalise the timeline, and initiate the collaborative writing process.
